Rev. Dix: I read your recent commentary on the tragedy in Arizona. I am puzzled by the seeming lack of a desire for peace among conservative religious commentators. Jesus plainly said in John's Gospel: Peace, I give you, not as the World gives you. The Apostle Paul states in Ephesians: Be ye angry and sin not; let not the sun go down upon your wrath. The answer( in my opinion) is not to claim an obvious constitutional right; but, to pour the soothing water of love upon inflammatory speech. May God forever bless and keep you.
